Louisa is an Islamic Finance specialist with over 20 years of experience in auditing and investment banking specialising in real estate, debt capital markets, project finance & corporate finance and across the London & the South East Asian markets.
At 90 North she focuses on developing and nurturing new investor and client relationships within the South East Asian market.
Prior to joining 90 North, she was Vice President – Client Relationship at Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad. From 2006 to 2012, she was with two islamic banks in the City of London where she gained significant exposure when she successfully secured and executed Malaysia Pilgrim Fund’s first property acquisition in Central London with a transaction value amounting to GBP165 million.
Louisa spent ten years in two Malaysian investment banks prior to moving to London working on debt capital markets & corporate finance transactions. She started her career in auditing at KPMG Malaysia.
Louisa graduated from RMIT University, Melbourne with a degree in Accountancy and has also an MBA from the University of Strathclyde. Louisa is a Fellow member of CPA Australia and has a Corporate Finance Qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She also holds the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments’ Islamic Finance Qualification. She has extensive experience in originating and executing predominantly Malaysian Sukuk.
