Our Team

Philip leads the team at 90 North. Since co-founding the company in 2011, he has been instrumental in the global expansion of its investment management services.

Having started his career with Citigroup, Philip has more than 25 years of banking and real estate experience, executing transactions across a wide range of sectors and investment strategies. Before founding 90 North, Philip was Head of Real Estate at Shari’ah compliant Gatehouse Bank.

Philip holds a BSc (1st) in Economics from the University of Bristol.

Having established 90 North with Philip, Nick is a board member and applies his extensive Middle East knowledge to investor relations in that region.

He started his career at Knight Frank, qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 1991. He has 30 years of real estate investment experience in diverse roles, with Gulf investors since 2000 and has worked at Capital Trust and Unicorn Investment Bank, Nick lived and worked in the Middle East from 2007 to 2011.

Nick holds a BSc in Real Estate from Oxford Brookes University and an MBA from the OU in London.

Susan joined 90 North soon after the US and European businesses were established, being instrumental in the growth of 90 North and leading on the accounting, finance, tax, operations and compliance aspects for both 90 North and the investment structures.

With over 20 years of accounting and finance experience, before joining 90 North Susan worked with investment managers Catalyst Capital and CIT Group, as well as auditor Wilder Coe.

Susan holds a BA in Economics from the University of Reading and is an FCA Chartered Accountant.

Dan established 90 North’s North America operations in Chicago and has built the team that is responsible for rapid growth in assets under management in the United States. Applying his wide set of skills, Dan continues to drive the US business forward.

As a senior real estate professional, Dan has more than 30 years’ experience across acquisitions, fund management, asset management and property management. Dan and Philip worked together on the management of the HSBC Amanah Global Properties Income Fund and prior to that Dan was a Portfolio Manager for Principal’s $1.1BN US Trophy Office Fund.

Dan holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Westmont College in Montecito, California.

Having previously worked together at Gatehouse Bank, Louisa re-joined Philip at 90 North in 2015, establishing 90 North’s office in Malaysia. Since then Louisa has built and continues to grow an investor base across Southeast Asia.

With a long and distinguished career, Louisa has worked across the auditing and investment banking disciplines, with extensive experience of real estate, debt capital markets and corporate finance. Previous employers include KPMG and Hong Leong Investment Bank.

Louisa holds an accountancy degree from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.
